Donald Isom, a Cleveland native, has been active in the hip-hop and street dance community for over 20 years. Currently, he is a Lecturer at The Ohio State University, where he has focused on Hip Hop/Street Dance culture for the past 7 years. Over the course of his career, he has led workshops, developed dance programs in Ohio, and performed both improvised and choreographed works. Donald's love of dance began early in his childhood, so in high school, he founded a group that introduced clowning and krumping to Cleveland in the 2000s. Building on this experience, he established I AM D.A.N.C.E. LLC in 2010, a global dance movement and clothing brand that shares dancers' stories worldwide about their passion and love as dancers. His projects have featured collaborations with TED Talks, Pepsi, Microsoft, World of Dance, Red Bull, America's Got Talent, ACDA, DCDC, Berklee College, and others.
